The first Wine Dinner at Villa La Massa
We look forward to seeing you at the first Wine Dinner at Villa La Massa, which will be held in the enchanting setting of the Il Verrocchio restaurant, with its splendid terrace overlooking the Arno River.
The unmissable special occasion will take place in the charming Il Verrocchio restaurant. Famous wineries will meet Tuscan haute cuisine in the splendid setting of the Villa, where the beauty of nature combines harmoniously with the elegant architecture.
The tasting dinner scheduled for September 3 will feature wineries from Chianti Classico, Brunello, and Bolgheri with labels from the Fontodi winery: Chianti Classico 2021, Vigna del Sorbo 2020, and Flaccianello 2020. From Val di Suga will be Brunello 2019, Brunello Poggio al Granchio 2019, and Brunello Vigna Spuntali 2018. Finally, from Tenuta Argentiera, Villa Donoratico 2021, Argentiera 2021, and Ventaglio 2018 will be served.
The wines of Fontodi, Val di Suga and Tenuta Argentiera are among the best in Tuscany. Each bottle tells a story of passion, tradition and love for the territory, granting a unique experience to those who taste them.
Whether it is a Chianti Classico, a Brunello di Montalcino or a Super Tuscan, these wines best represent the richness of Tuscany’s wine.
In combination with the labels that have been carefully selected by the Group Wine Director Alex Bartoli, Chef Stefano Ballarino has thought of a traditional menu that perfectly combines the intensity and nuances of the wines on offer. From beef carpaccio to peposo, we then move on to pumpkin and lemon, weaving together flavours and colours that ensure an unforgettable experience.
