Scattered throughout the grounds, six distinctive residences speak of a Tuscany suspended in time: Villa Nobile, Il Mulino, La Limonaia, Il Villino, Casa Colonica and Villa Hombert. Each bears the marks of its past — a blend of architecture, landscape and quiet nobility.

Villa Nobile
The historic heart of the estate and its most iconic structure, Villa Nobile embodies the essence of Tuscan Renaissance elegance. Built in the 13th century and set within the centuries-old park, it houses 21 unique rooms filled with charm and character.
Here you will also find the hotel’s most emblematic spaces: the Concierge, the grand Lobby, the refined Medicean Bar and Tea Room, the Arno Spa, the gym, the quiet reading room and the boutique, featuring an exclusive collection of hand-picked items. Il Mulino
Once an ancient watermill, today a secluded and refined residence, Il Mulino is one of the estate’s treasures. Carefully restored, it offers nine exclusive rooms and suites set within the peaceful greenery of the estate. Interiors are elegant and thoughtfully curated, reflecting the warmth of Tuscan Renaissance style. Large windows frame views of the Arno and the surrounding park — scenes of a land that feels timeless. On the lower level, you will find Il Verrocchio, the estate’s signature restaurant.
La Limonaia
Once the winter shelter for the estate’s lemon trees, La Limonaia is now among the most enchanting residences at Villa La Massa. Fully renovated and inaugurated in 2019, it offers ten rooms in a more contemporary Tuscan style, each with either a private garden or balcony overlooking the Arno.
Il Villino
The most intimate and most recently built residence on the estate, Il Villino dates back to the early 20th century and features seven rooms in warm hues of yellow and terracotta pink.
It offers a romantic and luxurious atmosphere, with sweeping views of the park and the Arno River. Nearby, guests can visit the famous Iris Garden, home to rare and reblooming varieties in full flourish.
Villa Hombert
A traditional Tuscan countryside villa recently transformed into three private apartments covering 300 square metres in total.
- Remole Apartment: A two-storey residence with a private garden, ideal for sun-soaked relaxation and admiring the estate’s gardens. The ground floor includes a spacious living room and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a marble bathroom with shower. Upstairs, a cosy attic with a second marble bathroom with shower, and a walk-in wardrobe.
- Rimaggio Apartment: Located on the first floor, it features a double bedroom with marble en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower, a living room, and an open-plan dining area with fully equipped kitchen. A highlight is the 24 sqm terrace — perfect for a glass of Tuscan wine surrounded by Florentine countryside tranquillity.
- Rosano Apartment: Also on the first floor, it includes a spacious double bedroom with wardrobe and marble bathroom, a separate living room and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven and dishwasher.
La Casa Colonica
A charming 19th-century farmhouse at the entrance to the estate, Casa Colonica has been entirely restored to house four elegant new suites, including one Junior Suite. Arranged over two floors, each suite features spacious living areas, a private bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The shared kitchen may be used either exclusively or communally. At the heart of the residence, a delightful inner courtyard with wrought-iron furnishings offers the perfect place to relax, read a book, or enjoy good company — all enveloped in the scent of jasmine that climbs the loggia nearby.
Royal gardens
Ten hectares of parkland embrace Villa La Massa in a vibrant mosaic of colours and fragrances. Among irises, agapanthus and blooming peonies, guests are gently guided down to the riverbank, discovering a poetic, authentic vision of Tuscany.
