Inspired by Dante’s Divina Commedia, the signature cocktail list guides guests through a sensory journey of intensity, balance and lightness. Each creation unfolds across three acts: Temptation, Redemption and Purification, expressed through smoky notes, balsamic nuances and brighter, more luminous aromas. Every sip becomes a gesture of welcome and discovery, transforming mixology into an immersive experience, to be savoured with the same sense of wonder as turning the pages of a timeless story.

Intimate and refined atmospheres define this bar with a historic soul. On summer evenings, Il Bar Mediceo opens outdoors, transforming the square overlooking the Arno into a stage of enchantment. The lights soften, the reflections of the river merge with the sunset sky, and the air carries notes of iris and freshly shaken cocktails. It is here that the soul of the villa reveals itself - among light conversations, melodies floating in the air, and glasses that tell stories.
Three Acts Inspired by La Divina Commedia
Temptation, Redemption, and Purification. At Il Bar Mediceo, each cocktail is a story to be sipped slowly. The new signature list draws inspiration from Dante’s Divine Comedy, transforming drinking into a sensory journey in three acts. It begins in Inferno, where cocktails embrace deep colors, enveloping smoke, and notes toasted, smoky, or subtly spicy—intense and pulsating, where every sip is a threshold and energy of Temptation. The journey continues into Purgatorio, a lighter realm where the palate finds breath and harmony, with green aromas, delicate sweetness, and soothing fragrances, the moment of Redemption. It culminates in Paradiso, where light fills the glass and floral, velvety aromas blend into delicate harmonies. Drinks become bright and luminous, with clarity and freshness, completing Purification and leaving a subtle, lasting pleasure.
