A widow of the Landinis family sells her home to three brothers of the Rinuccini family,
very well-known at the time, having had children who were ambassadors, writers and senators.
These are Carlo, Giovanni and Alessandro, a marquis, an abbot and a cavalier, who transforms
the two houses into a single villa, called "La Massa".
